Happy Birthday

This post comes a day early but I wont be posting tomorrow....we love you honey!

update...

Well how time flies, Mason's eye is healing remarkably fast and he never complained about it all week. He is such a good boy...most of the time :)

What happened to my baby? Crazy how fast 7 months goes by. I found her yesterday morning across the room sucking on Mason's flip flop...sick... time for more work for Mom and Dad....

got to LOVE fathers and sons!!

Eliza and I went to the football game to watch little Jeff play. While the boys went on their first fathers and sons together. At the end of the 1st quarter I looked at my phone and there were two missed calls from home. I knew that something had happened to little Mason....I talked to Mason and he told me that Mason had a run in with a stick. (We don't know if another kid got him or if it was self inflected) We met at the Doctor and they cleaned him up and checked inside the eye for abrasions and he does have abrasions in the eye. He will be on antibiotic's in the eye for a week. He has done really well! He had to wear the wrap the first night and when he woke up in the morning it was over both eye's and he was screaming,"I can't see, I can't see!" It looks a million times better already!!

sleep........

Today marked a major milestone in our family. Last week Mason and I decided we needed to change a few things with our son's sleeping habit's. Let me give you a little background. When we moved back home in January Mason was so excited to sleep in his own big boy room UPSTAIRS. We were so shocked that he would sleep in his room all night. THEN...Eliza came along in February and things abruptly changed. Back to laying with Mason on the couch to fall asleep. Mason and I were of course WAY to tired to try to get him upstairs to sleep. So yes I'm blaming Mason and I on getting back to old habits. Anyways...back to last week....Yes Mason is still sleeping on the couch but now we make him fall asleep on his own, no laying down with him anymore and he has stopped coming in our room in the middle of the night too (I think it's because we haven't let him watch Jurassic Park lately :)). AND Eliza has decided to sleep through the night. Last night was night 7 of her sleeping all night. I told my MIL this morning that I'm now actually having dreams. I think that mean's I'm actually sleeping!!! I hope this pattern stays around for awhile! Hopefully this week we will get Mason back in his room too.....
